Newest Alfred & Wilde stockist, the Laura Lea Design boutique pop-up, opened in up-and-coming Leytonstone this month. Laura Lea Design launched in 2014 and aims to encourage, support and enable designers and artists to grow in a collective environment, sharing ideas and nurturing new talent.
The pop-up, running until the end of August, is nestled in part of the original modernist building of Leytonstone Underground station. It is well worth a visit if you have never visited Leytonstone and the nearby green spaces of Wanstead Flats.

On top of launching a shop with a gorgeous collection of design-led gifts, Laura is also hosting weekly events and demonstrations. You could learn some new skills and have a go at making your own letterpress print or wooden spoon. This weekend, Saturday 1 August, meet contemporary knitter Aphelia Opus and learn how to use giant knitting needles.
A print event taking place outside the shop
