I am over the moon that my favourite London-themed gift store has returned to Carnaby Street for a summer pop-up. The team has assembled a collection of the finest and coolest London prints, ceramics, cards, jewellery, pigeons and tea bags (amongst other wonderful things) that you'll find anywhere in the city. It simply blows other tourist-tat shops out of the water. And to top it off they pride themselves on working with independent designer-makers and creatives, making it a real community asset. Let's hope the tourist hoards agree!

Scout Editions
This Supersize Pigeon from Pui and Scout Editions is super cool and needs no more explanation except to say it would look great on any wall. Supersize Pigeon £85.

Mel Rye
Mel Rye's collection of photographs of paper cuts caught my eye. Their minimal typographic style is a little similar to Alfred & Wilde and I thought they were a lot of fun. Pigeon £25.
The City Works
New graphic design brand This City Works produces wonderfully intricate designs, here printed on a trendy bandana. Lost in London bandana £24.
Rude
Rude make a welcome return to this second edition of We Built This City, and their big shouty prints are a joy to behold. London Lovers £195.

Recently voted the number one kid's shop in London, the Hoxton Street Monster Supplies selection is like something out of Diagon Alley. Creeping Dread sweets £10.
